Autograph letters from Henry Meen, London, to Thomas Percy, Dromore [manuscript], 1800-1804.

Letters include repeated references to Reed's new edition of Shakespeare, with additions by Steevens (in (3) and (4)), Todd's new edition of Milton and his work on Spenser (in (2), (3), (4), and (5)) and Milton's copy of Lycophron, now owned by Lord Charlemont ((2), (3), (4), and (5)). (1) refers to translations of Ovid's epistles by Dr. Grainger and mentions the last illness and death of George Steevens. All letters sent from Breadstreet Hill, St. Olave's Churchyard and addressed to "the Right Reverend the Lord Bishop of Dromore, at Dromore." Salutation is uniformly "My Lord," and each letter is signed "H. Meen."
